Eases the financial burden
The average family stays at a Ronald McDonald House for nine nights, but some stay much longer. One family needed the House for seven months while their little girl was getting treatment. Considering a night’s stay at a Ronald McDonald House in Montana is $25, their savings on hotel costs were huge. They also saved on meals and transportation. And the support they received from volunteers and other parents is, of course, priceless.
Bridges access to health care
In 2009, Montana's Ronald McDonald Care Mobile team visited 10 Montana communities and treated more than 3,000 children, most were uninsured.
